Bungonia is an a cappella work that was written after visiting the massive Bungonia Gorge in NSW, Australia. As a playground for daredevil bungy-jumpers, many of whom have died chasing their ultimate freedom, the work highlights the duality of a place full of beauty, yet capable of destruction.
